Our Policies

Non-Refundable Deposit: To secure your slot in the studio, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront. The remaining 50% plus shipping fees are due upon completion, before the artwork is dispatched.
Pricing: Base prices cover one pet per portrait. If you would like multiple pets included on a single large panel, please get in touch for a custom quote.

Photo Guidelines

Quality Matters: The quality of your portrait depends entirely on the quality of your photos! Please provide clear, well-lit, high-resolution photographs, this is important in order to see their eyes clearly. If your favourite picture doesnt do this then send other pictures with better eye detail so I can use these in the preffered pose.
If you have a preferred picture/pose please make that known, but sending other photos that capture your pets personality will also help me get to know your friend better.
Artistic License: While I replicate your pet's likeness as accurately as possible, the background color tones, and brush strokes are subject to artistic interpretation to ensure the best possible final piece.

Frames

The price also includes a fitted frame as part of the package.

Lead Times: Because each piece involves a multi-layer process of sketching, chalk painting, and curing the varnish, standard turnaround is 4 to 6 weeks from the deposit payment and photo approval.
Approval Process: I will send you a digital photo of the completed painting before applying the final varnish coat. You are entitled to one round of minor adjustments at this stage. Major changes or complete re-paints are not included.

Shipping: All artwork is securely wrapped, tracked, and insured. From Bark to Art is not responsible for postal delays once the package has been dispatched. Shipping is not included in the price but is indicated as additional cost.
Returns: Due to the completely bespoke, custom nature of pet portraiture, all sales are final. Returns or refunds are not accepted.
Copyright: The artist retains all copyright and reproduction rights to the artwork. It may be used for marketing, social media, or prints. The client may not reproduce the artwork for commercial gain without written permission.
